    Glencairn Ancient Cultures program for families at Ryerss. Saturday, January 27

    Join us at the Ryerss Museum & Library from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 27 for a Traveling Ancient Cultures Program with Glencairn Museum!

    Learn about the ritual of mummification in ancient Egypt, travel to ancient Rome to meet gods and goddesses, uncover temple gifts in ancient Greece, and investigate the protective art of ancient Mesopotamian palaces! Each culture will give you the chance to try a different hands-on project, including cuneiform clay tablets, protective amulets, and symbolic jewelry.

    This program is designed for students ages 7-12 but is open to the whole family. This is not a drop-off event. One adult per group is required to attend. Adults, seniors, and students $8 each, children 4 & under free. Tickets available online here: https://bit.ly/GlencairnatRyerss…

    Handcrafted items for display and sale!

    Our Fiber Craft Friends Group meets twice a month at Ryerss. Each participant brings their own project, shares in conversation, laughter and friendship as they work on beautiful handmade items. Join us as they share their crafts and maybe purchase something handmade!  All proceeds go to Ryerss.
    Our Fiber Craft Show will be on the porch of Ryerss.
