The Ryerss Library has been serving the surrounding community since 1910. As an independent circulating library, it lends current fiction, popular bestsellers, nonfiction, children’s literature, classic literature and reference materials. Area residents may obtain a free library membership and borrow books for a period of three weeks.
The children’s section of the library contains a large number of reading materials for children of all age groups. The section has an area stocked with coloring sheets, markers, crayons, and board games. The library also hosts Storytime with Miss Linda twice a month, featuring stories, songs and a craft.
The library also houses the Ryerss Museum gift shop, where you can purchase a booklet on the Ryerss Museum & Library history, a selection of Victorian greetings cards, museum t-shirts, coloring books, and small charms.
