Join us at the Ryerss Museum & Library from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 27 for a Traveling Ancient Cultures Program with Glencairn Museum!
Learn about the ritual of mummification in ancient Egypt, travel to ancient Rome to meet gods and goddesses, uncover temple gifts in ancient Greece, and investigate the protective art of ancient Mesopotamian palaces! Each culture will give you the chance to try a different hands-on project, including cuneiform clay tablets, protective amulets, and symbolic jewelry.
This program is designed for students ages 7-12 but is open to the whole family. This is not a drop-off event. One adult per group is required to attend. Adults, seniors, and students $8 each, children 4 & under free. Tickets available online here: https://bit.ly/
